Applying for Village Green status is our key focus at this stage.

We are especially keen to speak to those who have used Tongfields for 20+ years and live nearby, but please remmeber – all community voices are valuable.


If we lose out on Village Green status, challenging the planning application will be an uphill struggle.

 

Don't delay with your submissions.

Spread the word

Tell your neighbours, encourage them to get involved, especially those who are not internet/social media savvy. Please give them a helping hand with any forms.

Get ready to submit your objections

When a planning application goes in, the council must consider all objections from the public. A large number of well-reasoned objections can push them to refuse the application or impose conditions. We will update our resources page with templates and guides to help you along the way.​​

We will keep you updated regarding any events or meetings. Please do your best to attend. Strength in numbers as always!
